It is badly out of date and full of a lot of stale settings and approaches, as well as using an invalid entityID to name the system, but the permissions problem is exactly what I just told you it was. Nothing in it explains the shibd connectivity issue offhand, but given the horrible state its in, starting over with fresh defaults is the only rational choice.<br>
