</span>More than 90% of InCommon IdPs are Shibboleth. To be exact, 378 of 419<br>
InCommon IdPs run the Shibboleth software.<br>

There are 1485 IdPs in eduGAIN metadata. Of those, 1145 are<br>
Shibboleth. Most of the rest are simpleSAMLphp and AD FS. (I counted<br>

I estimate there are about 2000 IdPs in higher ed worldwide. Of those,<br>
around 1600 are Shibboleth, that is, about 80%.<br>
