The old one won't run because there are internal Spring wiring changes specific to the new libraries.<br>

I don't know anything about your environment, or what steps you followed, but something isn't right about one of them.<br>

The installer should have rebuilt the warfile, but as a start, I'd run bin/build-war again and make sure the new webapp is being used in the container.<br>

If you didn't have the container stopped while doing the upgrade, that's also a red flag.<br>
