<p class="MsoNormal">Our software acts as SP. Customers configure an IdP and our software to use SSO. We are also implementing a unified interface to external SPs implemented by other vendors. The unified interface within our system essentially uses RPC to
talk to external SPs.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">When a user loads the unified interface, we need to authenticate the user using SAML assertions on external SPs. I was hoping to make use of AssertionIDRequest (saml-core-2.0-os, Section 3.3.1) or equivalent to look up the current SAML
assertion, and forward it for authentication.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I tried to search to see if Shibboleth IdP supports AssertionIdRequest to try a few session manually. I can’t seem to find relevant information.<o:p></o:p></p>
