<div>Hostnames are intended to be hostnames. The installer is just building a configuration files from templates for your convenience. You can pick pretty much whatever you’d like for any of it as long as a client would resolve it and an SP recognize

<div dir="ltr">Hello to everyone. I am trying to understand and make Shibboleth work on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. One of my questions is that when I installed IDP, I have set "Fully Qualified hostname":

<div><a href="http://dspace.atc.gr/" target="_blank">dspace.atc.gr</a><b>/idp</b></div>

dspace.atc.gr/sp</a></div>

dspace.atc.gr</a> is my localhost (<a href="http://dspace.atc.gr/" target="_blank">http://dspace.atc.gr/</a>) and I would like to be able to test the installation with urls like:</div>

<div><a href="http://localhost/idp" target="_blank">http://localhost/idp</a><br>
