Testshib loads a directory with all the metadata files uploaded during the prior rolling 60 days and uploads will trigger shibd to reload the entire folder. There are currently 514 metadata files in that folder, and I don't think there's another deployment
in the world that tries to do that, so there's room for conpiracy-theorizing that the two are connected. Scott can comment as to whether there's any basis for believing it may, for some reason, cause the attribute extractor to die.
