I've been tasked to begin gathering metrics related to login on our idp. The only way I can think to do this is to write some scripts that parse through the idp-process.log. I'll have to figure out what the best messages to parse on are. Does anyone have any other thoughts on how to gather/generate any metrics? Looking to determine how many logins occurred per day (or some other time period), both successful and otherwise. <br></div><div><br></div><div>I also need to project how our performance might scale to be able to say how many logins/day (or some other better metric) we can support from the idp side and what the ldap backend can handle. Really out of my league on this one.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Any thoughts and/or guidance are most appreciated if anyone has been through this process before.<br></div><div><br></div><div><span name="x"></span><div><div>Gene Matthews</div><div>Sr. Systems Engineer<br>System Integration Team<br>Hitachi CTA, Inc.<br>2280 Campbell Creek Blvd<br>Richardson, TX 75082<br>M: 678.994.1374<br>O: 469.461.2754 <br>Gene.Matthews@hitachi-cta.com<br>www.hitachi-cta.com</div><br></div><span name="x"></span><br></div></div></body></html>
