It completely depends on your population. Numbers I see from schools are typically on the order of 30,000 active faculty/students/staff and 50 logins per second during peak hours on peak days -- 1 per 600 users -- but it varies wildly, both throughout the day and between organizations. Whether you could even use this as a rough guess depends on how closely your usage patterns match those of these organizations.<br>
