The members of my IdP cluster (which uses terracotta) are set to reload config files automagically without restarting the container. And so the only time my tomcat instances (6.0) have *ever* been restarted in probably the last two years is when I've done kernel updates on the underlying OS, which I probably do a few times a year.<div><br></div><div>Many moons ago I restarted them every few weeks, but as Dave said, that was because of memory leak issues that were fixed a long time ago.</div><div><br></div><div>Rhys.<br><div>
