<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">One thing I’ve discovered that changed between iOS5 and iOS6 that may not be what’s causing the problem, but might be, is that Apple changed Safari’s handling of AJAX calls. This wouldn’t impact Shibboleth or
SAML itself, but might impact your application, depending on how it’s implementing the calls. In iOS5, every time an AJAX call was made, it made the call. In iOS6, they started caching AJAX calls, and you now need to send a some form of “no cache” parameter
in the AJAX call (how you do that is completely dependent on what language the application is written in).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Does anyone here have any experience using SAML with IOS v6? IOS such as tablets and iphones that were using v 5 of the OS and Safari browser were able to connect successfully. With IOS v6 devices I’m getting reports of messages “Failed
to receive SAML response by HTTP post” from the Mediasite SP sometimes. The IdP in this case is Shibboleth. I’m very much a SAML beginner so hopefully this isn’t too vague.<o:p></o:p></p>
