Well, I hate to suggest this, and yes, I am *extremely* well acquainted with the problems of following this suggestion, but you could get displayName (if they offer it) and parse it out into the parts you need. Parsing will work about 90% of the time if your client's user-base is mostly US citizens. However, as I'm sure my cohorts on this list will quickly point out there's thousands of ways parsing can and does break. Therefore, you probably want to build some logic for handling exceptions when the parser breaks up the name wrong. The best alternative though is have the IdP send you the broken up name in custom attributes, but I believe you already said they won't do that.<div>
