We are working with an outside vendor that is not a member of Incommon. They claim to be SAML 2 SP compliant (unknown SP software).<br>

We have never integrated with a non Incommon SP before. Does anyone have experience integrating an Incommon IDP with a non Incommon SP? Their specs are nothing more than a whole lot of SAML XML and what they expect.<br>

They have never heard of Shibboleth (or eduPerson) and have no interest in joining Incommon.<br>

<br>

What are the steps we can make to make this possible? Do we require they provide us with their SP's metadata or can we create that on our own. I am also not sure about certificate exchange for SAML assertions.<br>

Any idea the level of effort we will need to make this happen (man hours)?<br>

I found a post regarding this dating back to 2009 but the thread died after Nate's response.<br>
