I am not sure if your misunderstanding me or I'm misunderstanding
you but let me rephrase my question. Can the REMOTE_USER servlet be
configured to support/authenticate for more than one URL?<br>

After thinking about this, after my post I guess what I am really asking
is can REMOTE_USER be configured to support multiple protectedServletPath
statements. My reason for wanting to have a seperate path is the
authentication method I am going to deploy is for a subset of our users and
as we Shibbolize other apps in the future I would like to keep the
possibility of using REMOTE_USER as an option verses having
/idp/Authn/RemoteUser dedicated to a mechanism that does not service our
entire community

GoogleApps authentication. I plan on having my GoogleApps login based on
REMOTE_USER. Idealy I would like to create /idp/Authn/GoogleApps so that

writing a custom handler?
