<div>At the University of British Columbia, we will be rolling out Blackboard, in early 2012, with Shibboleth integration, for web authentications.</div>

<div>Are there any other institutions that have Blackboard-Shibboleth, or WebCT Vista-Shibboleth, integrations, and can share experiences on capacity planning vis-a-vis both systems?</div>

<div>At UBC, LMS systems average ~ 60% of web authentication transactions (~100K/day), and an outage, or performance latency, can severely impact student experience. If you have some time to spare, we would like to set up a conference call to discuss lessons
learned.</div>
