Shibboleth AttributeChecker works in default application but not with ApplicationOverride

Hi, 

We are working on the attribute checker, and it works fine with the default application. However, it does not work as expected with an application override.
Our goal is to differentiate the required attributes between Application 1 and Application 2, which are defined in an application override.
Has anyone implemented this successfully, or can share guidance on how to configure attribute requirements differently for each application override?
