That's another avenue for sure.
I can advise the internal contact who asked about this, to warn about the use of the Back button being a bad idea.

However, I have experienced it myself WITHOUT using the back button (usually when jumping between multiple booking sites, that we host on a VM internally - a separate VM to the IdP, in the same VMware datacenter - I'm going to look into the server clock sync arrangements tomorrow when the team I need to ask are about).

What message are actually talking about?

The only such message I can think of internally is possibly clock-skew driven, but that's only in a log and is extremely obvious as to what's happening, so I rather suspect you're talking about something entirely unrelated (back button, etc.)

I can't debug it, but I can at least tell you what it means.
