I wasn't really planning on retaining that whole "back door" concept at all, but I hadn't added it yet to the planned removals page.

With the file-based approach to caching it would probably be superfluous because just throwing a file in and setting a cookie is effectively a back door anyway, and the format won't be anything complex.
