I think you want to read up here:

particularly the section on attribute-filter.xml, which links to

which you need to do if you're not pulling the entire aggregate any more 
(and thus there is no longer an entity group to check on).

Also, make sure you're not putting attribute filters in 
relying-party.xml (I figured that was just an inadvertant double paste).
