Not a problem, I was just struggling to get the point across. OpenID is the same, for all intents and purposes.

CAS tends to be different, there is no OOB return location there. The ticket request actually contains a parameter that usually is the original resource URL. Which is why it's not designed for use on the open internet, it's an intranet sort of thing.
