Problems with attribute checker

Hi all,

we are experiencing problems with an SP that uses an attribute  
checker. Most logins work just fine but every now and then, the  
attribute checker complains about missing attributes. If the same user  
tries to login again later, the issue often goes away by itself.
IdP logs show now errors, attributes are populated and released  
correctly. The SP owner also doesn't see any obvious problems on their  
side. So it doesn't seem like a config issue to me.

The SP is running with a loadbalancer...could this be a problem?

Any help, hints and wild guesses are appreciated...I'm really running  
out of ideas here.
