Help needed to guide of using SAML SP as backend side of our product.

Thanks Scott for sharing the information.
Being at a very beginner level for SAML part, we are having few very basic queries.

I am seeing the latest release from Shibboleth SP
https://shibboleth.net/downloads/service-provider/3.4.1/
We will start POC to use it, in our product.

Could you please help us with the below queries?
1)	What is the license type of the product? Our product[where we are planning to integrate] is a commercial product from SAP.
2)	What is the roadmap of the Shibboleth SP?
3)	Where we can find the details documentation for using the SP during our POC/integration stage?

Then you could use the Shibboleth SP in its standard form.

Java does not have a singular security model or API, so there is deifnitionally no such thing as "a Java SP", only those for different integration points and styles. I know of none of them other than Spring's and pac4j and I have no experience with any of them.
