Setting an HTTP(S) proxy on the DuoOIDC health check

Wondering how to set an HTTP (well, HTTPS) proxy for use with the Duo 
OIDC plugin for my one server that doesn't have NAT magic to allow it to 
work.  Probably creating a custom HttpClient(Factory) bean somewhere?

Setting http(s).proxyHost/Port on the JVM doesn't seem to do the trick 
(I don't think HttpClient honors it).
