Problem running IdP 5.1.0 on linux

I tried updating a test shibboleth IdP instance running on jetty 11 from 
5.0.0 to 5.1.0 but get the error
net.shibboleth.shared.logic.ConstraintViolationException: Unable to load 
properties from resource
in jetty.log and shibboleth doesn't start. Is there a problem or am I 
doing something wrong? The full backtrace is attached.
