Custom headers are not something the HttpClient bean does, that would have to be done by the caller, and other than the HTTP data connector, which does support that, other areas generally do not. There's no support for it currently in the HTTP collector and no generic support for it as part of the security APIs we built.

Not happening for 5.1, as that's about to ship. If it gets filed we can look at down the road, though I'm no fan of "hack in a header for security", that's nothing more than reinventing basic-auth, kind of silly.
