shibd 3.4.1-5 on Amazon Linux 2023 fails to start

Hello,

We've been running shibboleth 3.4.1-1 with no issues on Amazon Linux 2023, however upon upgrading to 3.4.1-5 shibd now fails to start.  It times out and does not log any issues with starting.

/usr/sbin/shibd -t indicates the configs are ok (and they have not changed from 3.4.1-1 which still works).

Downgrading from 3.4.1-5 to 3.4.1-1 along with a systemctl daemon-reload and a systemctl restart shibd results in successful startup.

I did a search in JIRA and came across this issue:

Not sure if it's related.  I know I'm not providing much additional info here, so please tell me if there is additional information I should provide.
