IdP process-log stopped recording

What might have caused the ida-process.log to stop (while audit and other
logs continued to record)?

status command indicated:

service: shibboleth.LoggingService
last successful reload attempt: 2023-09-11T19:11:34.980362Z
last reload attempt: 2023-09-11T19:11:34.980362Z

The last lines recorded in yesterday's archived process log was a
normal-looking successful sign-in at 23:59:57 yesterday (15 Jan)

There was no idi-process.log file today (16 Jan)

idp-process.log was generated and is recording now after restarting the
reloadable logging service.
