Queens University supplier moving to SSO

Hi

I have since started a role at Queen's University and I have inherited a Centos 7 Shibboleth server. I have since received the below query from a supplier along with a metadata xml file;

Please create a new application in your IdP with the metadata included here with the same attributes that were configured in your current SSO configuration. Once completed please provide your metadata, which we will load in our copy of your existing configuration.

I am struggling to find documentation and I am not very familiar with Sibboleth so any advice on how I can do this would be greatly appreciated !
