Shibboleth IdP V5 installing

Thank you for your advice.

I saw your point and clarified that there are a file, /opt/shibboleth-idp/conf/idp.properties.

I installed Shibboleth IdP v5 using default settings.
So, I checked the permission for the files in the  /opt/shibboleth-idp/credentials and noticed they needed the correct permissions.

I gave them proper permission and solved the problem.

If you're not using that location, you do, that would be the default. The error is simply that whatever it's set to, or defaulting to, conf/idp.properties wasn't there or accessible.
