uppercase/lowercase an attribute

Good day, 

I am solving an example where there is an attribute called "test" which
contains a different number of words with different letter sizes for
different users. Shibboleth IdP version 4.

I need to perform a conversion so that each word in this attribute has the
first letter capitalized.

For example from: 

WOrd WORD word 

I need use:

Word Word Word 

1.	Is there a way to convert (uppercase/lowercase) an attribute before
releasing it to the SP?
2.	Or is it necessary to define a Script attribute definition?

What would such a specific or similar example look like?
