Authentication failing intermittently in IdP 5 for Ellucian Banner 9

Hi List,

We have an intermittent issue with Banner Ellucian 9 and IdP 5 failing user authentication when loading a new form after an initial successful login which has caused us to revert back to IdP 4.

 A user can login into Banner's ApplicationNavigator ok but when they try to access a new form from the menu e.g. Administrator Banner returns a message "user not authenticated". Users can SSO into other applications in new windows or tabs successfully at the same time.

We have been unable to find any errors generated by Banner so far to help in troubleshooting this issue.
Falling back to IdP 4 and everything works fine.

We are not using Banner's SSO manager application.

The IdP is sending the correct attribute back to Banner on the subsequent AuthnResponse.

Has anyone experienced this or have any hints on how to troubleshoot further.
