SPNEGO and _eventId_authn/SPNEGO button

There's no support in V5 for running login flows from each other like that, that was noted as a "this is going away" feature a while ago.

I'm not sure actually sure what it's doing under the covers now and I do want to take a look at it but at best I'd want it failing in a more controlled fashion.

You need to use the MFA flow, and signal a custom event back from the button and then dispatch on that event to run the SPNEGO flow.
