Logging REMOTE_PORT

Hi Shib users,

Is it possible to log, in either process or audit log, the REMOTE_PORT (client port) process variable?

I just recently got a request to start logging this reasons.

I know the idP source code only supports 4 MDC variables, but I was wondering if there's a way to access a custom process variable without having to change the IdP source code.

I am also open to submitting a feature request to the Shibboleth IdP project.
