XCreds as OIDC relying party?

I’ve been asked to try to integrate XCreds with our Shibboleth IdP
(XCreds uses an OIDC Identity Provider for local device login).

If feasible, it will be the first use of OIDC relying party (excepting Duo
OIDC UP).

Have you done or attempted this, and if so, any words of wisdom
(better yet, sample configs)?
