Help!!!

[Ullfig, Roberto Alfredo]

Edit /lib/system/shibd.service and replace

ExecStart=/usr/sbin/shibd -f -F

with

ExecStart=/bin/strace -o /tmp/junk /usr/sbin/shibd -f -F

install strace if you don't have it already. Restart the service and look for the open system commands

I am getting the following message when trying to start the SHIBD Daemon.   I have tried everything I can think of.  Can anyone provide me assistance?



The error message is “no such file or directory.”  The daemon cannot create the “.sock” or “.pid” files.



SELINUX is disabled.
