The caution there is that the property is *an* entityID, but of course it could be overridden. As long as you're not doing that in the config, it's fine, just something to note.
Actually accessing the issuer/responder ID is something the API already allows for, without requiring the property.
On the RelyingPartyConfiguration in the RP context.
