SP setup for multiple IDPs

I don’t usually deal with SPs and I’m not sure how to handle this. We have two applications on the same IIS box that currently use the same IDP, but are set up with separate EntityIDs via Application Overrides. We need to move one of the applications to an Okta.

Idp is currently set via <Sessions><SSO entityID=”idpURI”></Sessions>

I looked at using a SessionInitiator to point to the right IDP but currently, the users go directly against the Application base URI and then get redirected so I don’t think that will work. What is the recommended way to handle this type setup?
