Applying filters to metadata

Thanks, everyone. I'll attach the filter to each remote source in that
case. By putting the attribute filter script in an external file, we can
keep the repeated config for each provider relatively short. I prefer this
over the ByReference approach as you can easily see that each provider has
the relevant filter applied.

It would be nice to have a way to apply a filter to groups of providers in
future.
