install.sh and HTTP proxy for the plugins

You didn't wait long enough. I had the same issue, but the install 
eventually completed after around 12 minutes.

It would also be nice to be able to do an offline plugin install or update 
from manually downloaded plugins.properties and plugin gzip files.
