Logging for an HTTP client bean

Thanks, Rod and Scott.

Scott, we're still on 4.3.1. So, it's still org.apache.http, correct?

Rod, yes, when I run plugin.sh with --verbose, I do see the org.apache.http debug level messages on stdout. Thanks, that's helpful to know what I should be looking for.

For simplicity, I grabbed the default logback.xml that ships with the TIER Docker version of 4.3.1 and dropped it into my container. I then added this to my idp.properties:

idp.loglevel.httpclient = DEBUG

Still no logging from org.apache.http in my IdP process log.

Any other thoughts at all?

Keith

The --verbose command will create a lot of dialogue from the httpclient and it doesn’t use the IdP logging (unless you tell it to)

	plugin --verbose -L | grep apache

should show you something and that will give you pointers where to go next
