Shibboleth installation fails with IIS support checked

I'm trying to install Shibboleth 3.4.1.3 on a Windows Server 2022 Standard machine, and the installation is failing when I have "Configure IIS support" checked.  The error is a generic "Shibboleth Service Provider Setup Wizard ended prematurely" dialog, and there's nothing in any of the log files under ./opt/shibboleth-sp/var/log/shibboleth/

I have been able to install this version of Shibboleth on this machine without the Configure IIS Support checkbox checked, but I need the IIS support, so I uninstalled it.  I've confirmed that it is uninstalled and the service no longer shows up in my Services.

The Event Viewer does have some messages from MsiInstaller, but they're not very helpful: see below:
