Shibboleth Authentication with 2-way trusted domains

Hi,

In Active Directory there is a concept of Two-Way Trust, if we configure it, then one domain can access resources of other domains and vise versa.   So is it possible that Shibboleth authenticate the users of other trusted domains.

For example:

If domain A (abc.edu) has 2-way trust relationship with domain B (xyz.edu) , then shibboleth IdP of domain A can authenticate users of domain B as well.
