Shibboleth IdP and CAS metadata

Does the "search" for CAS metadata for a given CAS login request include checking LocalDynamic metadata providers based on the SHA1 of the service URL? And would that still be done even if one sets the internal ID ti be used to the entityID in that CAS metadata based on setting the idp.cas.relyingPartyIdFromMetadata property?
