I would not even consider doing this, but I imagine there's probably a way to get it to find it using some form of relative path. I have no idea what the context is for that lookup but it's not going to be the current directory of the JSP file. Some kind of logging should indicate where it's trying to find the file.

This is a really bad idea. I wouldn't use JSP to begin with, but I certainly wouldn't mix the approaches if I did. Use JSP or don't use it, but pick one.
