Attribute filter warnings due to OIDC

Hi all,

We’re getting the following warning while testing out our upgrade 4.2.1 branch --

WARN [net.shibboleth.idp.attribute.filter.AttributeRule:190] - 10.144.6.243 - Attribute filtering engine '/AttributeFilterPolicyGroup:NebraskaShibbolethFilterPolicy/AttributeRule:_9f8f8b8ec2e75fd3354bf6ecb62a28fb' Filter failed. No values released for attribute 'mail'

After searching the mailing archive [1], it looks like Keith Wessel had the exact same issue a couple years ago and it was ruled a bug. Has the issue been resolved or is there something else incorrect with our configuration?
