Configure User Interface Templates in SP

Prasanth is investigating ways of displaying SAML responses in a browser for our customer support people. Nothing other than what various browser extensions or dev tools already do, we would just like to display that data to the user in a page we manage without a user needing a specific browser or tool or knowing how to use it.

Not our intention to undermine security or privacy, just to drastically reduce the time it takes to solve access problems.

How would you "monitor the application usage" using client-side storage? Why not use log files?
