Please do not thread hijack (reply to an existing thread and change the subject).  It confuses the more sane of the mail readers and makes a mess of the archives (e.g. [1])

Also, you don't change the configuration od the IdP to change the metadata, you configure the IdP and then edit the metadata appropriately.
