ACS URL or maybe post-auth target redirect?

As a small consolation, I got my Plan B to work, where after the standard ACS completes, it goes to my static landing page instead of the triggering protected-url. (It needed a path relative to the host (and thankfully not under the handlerUrl.)
In <Sessions> I said
<SSO entityID="http://sso.med.harvard.edu/adfs/services/trust" target="/<my-web-app-on-the-SP-host">/rest/postAcs
SAML2
</SSO>
Thanks again, Scott and Nate.

I shouldn't say there's no way to implement your own ACS, you can of course build a C++ plugin to do so. You're not going to and you shouldn't.
