OIDC OP v3.2.0 and OIDC common v2.1.0 now available

Do these plugins form the way of making the IdP use Azure AD instead of on-prem AD, ergo will catch if a user is signed in to Office 365 already they don't see a login screen to get a Shibboleth session? I have tried looking at the guides, and what I found on google, but am a bit confused.

I know Overt does exactly this, but looking at whether we can do it in house before having to put a business case together as part of other improvements that are under consideration.

The Shibboleth Project has released V3.2.0 of the OIDC OP plugin (see
release notes at [1])

This is a feature release that adds some new capabilities along with a
bug fix regarding the use of SAML metadata for OIDC RPs. This release
requires the OIDC common plugin V2.1.0, which has also been just released.
