SP multi-valued attributes and the semicolon

Hello,

This is probably a stupid question, but...

We noticed that the SP concatenates multi-valued SAML attributes with a semicolon when putting them into the apache environment. so e.g. in a CGI I might get something like this:

eduPersonScopedAffiliation: "member at cornell.edu;alum at cornell.edu;employee at cornell.edu;staff at cornell.edu"



Is there a way to change that delimiter to something else?



I have a user asking me about this, and I couldn't find it.
