Attribute-resolver question

Good morning.

We have 2 separate email domains. One for students and one for
faculty/staff. I am pulling information out of AD to populate the fields
for shibboleth. The most accurate way for me to create the attribute is
using cn from AD and creating a Scoped attribute. I have the faculty/staff
attribute scoped properly along with the student attribute scoped properly.

My question is, I need to release just one attribute depending on the user.
How do I create a third attribute that gets populated by one or the other
scoped attributes from earlier?  I been reading through the documentation
but I'm not sure which direction to go. We are on version 4.1.4 of the IDP.
